As an adult, going to the movies just isn’t what it used to be. Few movies are out lately that are worthy of the $11+ experience . The small uncomfortable seats are filled with irreverent teens, and the experience is often tainted by gleams of light from spectators phones. In addition, the food is often limited to hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos, none of which are reasonably priced.

When my friends and I make a movie-date, it’s often to Cinebistro. It’s dinner and a movie all in one convenient package. Typically, one would only expect so much from theater food but Cinebistro is the exception. The food is actually very good and the options are generous. Another incentive is that the theater only permits entrance to patrons 21 years and older. The drink menu is vast and includes an array of tasty cocktails and a relatively impressive wine list.

Tickets are a bit more expensive- approximately $21- but the experience is worth it. The spacious and roomy reclining seats yield an intimate home-theater atmosphere. Approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of your film, a server will present you with menus and your complete order will be delivered within minutes.

Cobb’s Cinebistro is a grown and sexy alternative to your run-of-the mill Regal Cinemas or Muvico. This one-stop shop promises to be a great movie experience.
